Practice Staff

Dr Robin Hopkins<robin@haldon-house.co.uk> has a particular interest in Medical Informatics and is involved in working with the E.C. in this field.  He also has interests in cardiology, homeopathy and hypnosis.
 

Dr Colin May<colin@haldon-house.co.uk> is interested in all aspects of complimentary medicine.  He is also an approved diving doctor and has interests in orthopaedics and sports medicine.

Dr Simon Kay <simon@haldon-house.co.uk> is particularly interested in Sports Medicine and runs a Sports Medicine Clinic.  He also has interests in asthma and diabetes.

 

Dr Judyth Aarons - a lady doctor - is not a partner in the practice but works with us 3 days a week.

 

Sister Elizabeth <elizabeth@haldon-house.co.uk> trained in Scotland before moving south to work at Exmouth Hospital before joining us.

 

Sister Wilhelmina  <willie@haldon-house.co.uk> also trained in Scotland as a general nurse and midwife before moving south.

 

The nurses are responsible for routine chronic disease clinics, health education, routine immunization, blood tests, screening procedures, dressings and clinics.

 

We have a health care assistant Sally and a phlebotomist Louise

 

The practice employs a part time practice manager Elizabeth Hopkins <liz@haldon-house.co.uk>

 

Haldon House employs  two part time secretaries who can be reached at <sec@haldon-house.co.uk>

 

Haldon House employs several receptionists who can be reached at <admin@haldon-house.co.uk>

 

The midwife is now Sally who currently is with us on Monday

 

The Community Nurse Team is based at the practice, and can be reached at <dn@haldon-house.co.uk>, or Tel. Exmouth 268351.

 

The Health Visitors are now Based at the Gypsy Lane Clinic. One of them currently holds clinics at the surgery on Tuesday afternoons.

 

Counselling services are now provided  by the PCT .  Sue Prowse our previous counsellor continues to be able to offer a service but only on a private basis. (Sue can be contacted on: 01404 831837).
