NHS England is locally undertaking a national piece of work to ensure patient registration details with their GP surgery are accurate. They will be writing to some patients to check that they are still registered at the same surgery and live at the address the doctor has for you.
The letter is recognisable by the blue NHS England logo in the top right hand corner. However, many patients have claimed to have thrown the letter away believing it to be junk or spam mail.
You can easily respond to this letter, by text, telephone or email and they request you do this within 4 weeks or alternatively you can just telephone your surgery and let them know you have had the letter. If you do not respond you will be automatically de-registered from your chosen surgery by NHS England. One town centre surgery in Exmouth had 525 patients who did not respond and their staff are now urgently trying to contact these patients to enable them to stay on the surgery register.
Please help us to help you to stay registered with the surgery and doctor you have chosen by either responding to the NHS England letter (as out lined above) or by contacting your surgery.
The doctors and staff at Haldon House Surgery surgery in Exmouth are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.
Access into the surgery is via Manchester Street. The Practice has automatic doors and is based on the ground floor for easy wheelchair access. If you require a ramp for access, please let the receptionist know when booking your appointment.
